The Aerial Exit – A Mega Illusion in the Air

On 12 Dec 2010, five people will be given the experience of a lifetime when “Asia’s most famous illusionists” (The Straits Times), J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning, make them vanish while elevated 20ft high up in the air in the duo’s latest mega illusion stunt.

For the past five years, J C & Ning have dominated the grand illusion scene in Asia with their high profile mega illusions, TV appearances and live shows.

They are well known for their innovative illusions such as teleporting people & cars over great distances as well as setting a world magic record and successfully predicting the national 4D lottery.

Entitled “The Aerial Exit”, this is the first mega illusion that “Singapore’s Celebrity Magic Duo” (Channel News Asia) will attempt in the air.

The mega illusion is the grand finale of the National Heritage Board’s 2010 “Explore Singapore” campaign. J C & Ning have been chosen as the faces of this year’s “Explore Singapore” campaign and as ambassadors for the campaign, they will bring their brand of magic to different museums in Singapore over a four-week period.

The event is FREE and open to the public. Spectators are invited to watch the mega illusion from any vantage point and photograph or video record the entire stunt.

The Impossible 4D Prediction: Singapore Magic Duo to Predict 4D Winning Numbers

Date: 22 Jan 2010, 8pm to 27 Jan 2010, 7pm

“Singapore’s celebrity magic duo” (Channel News Asia), J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning will attempt their most mind boggling feat yet – the advance prediction of winning 4D lottery numbers.

The entire “stunt” will take place over a period of one-week.

PART 1 – 22 Jan 2010 at 8.30pm, St James Power Station Main Entrance

On Fri, in front of a live audience, J C & Ning will seal their 4-digit number prediction in a giant red packet (红包).

The prediction, in the form of a written note as well as a single purchased lottery ticket for a  single number, will be placed into a plastic clear tube with caps.

In plain view, this clear tube will then be locked into a see-through tamper-proof Lexan and aluminum container. This container will then be incased in an outer Plexiglas box. A gold seal will be placed over the padlock and signed by a representative of the Singapore Tourism Board who will be auditing the proceedings.

The prediction will remain sealed and left suspended 3m above the ground, in front of St James Power Station’s main entrance for the next 6 days.

The public is free to come by to view the suspended prediction chest anytime (24/7) over the course of the week. Additional security cameras and security personnel will be deployed to ensure that the clear acrylic chest holding the lottery prediction is kept safe and untampered by anyone, including J C & Ning’s team.

PART 2 - 27 Jan 2010 at 6.30pm, St James Power Station The Boiler Room

On the following Wed, J C & Ning will open the chest and reveal their prediction, once the official 4D results are drawn by Singapore Pools.

Members of the public are invited to come down to The Boiler Room @ St James at 6.30pm on this date to witness this ‘live’ revelation of the 4D prediction by the veteran illusionists in real time. Admission is also free.

Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions Show

J C & Ning’s latest psychological illusion stunt will coincide with their latest show Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions, which runs at The Boiler Room @ St James Power Station from 26 – 30 Jan 2010 (Tue – Sat) at 8.00pm every night.

Tickets for the 60-minute contemporary illusion show are priced at S$40 per person, inclusive of a complimentary drink and free club entry after. Promotions include 15% off ticket price for all St James members, as well as, 20% off ticket price for group bookings of 10 tickets or more.

Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions @ St James Power Station on 6th October 2009!

J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning will be bringing their brand of ‘urban illusions‘ to St James Power Station, Singapore’s biggest entertainment club, for a series of landmark projects!

The first event is on 6 Oct 2009 and is a sneak preview of the brand new full show that J C and Ning are developing for St James for Jan 2010.

“Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions” will feature completely brand new illusions and acts including; “Human Light Tunnel”, “Shadow Vision” and “The Jail Box”.

J C and Ning will also be performing some old favourites including the entire version of the “360 Sawing” illusion that was performed in an abbreviated form for “The Impossible Record”.

The ONE-NIGHT event on the 6 Oct 2009 will also feature the Merlin Awards ceremony where J C and Ning will be presented the gold Merlin statues by the President of the International Magicians Society who will be flying up from New York for the event.
