Pop and Contemporary Fine Art is located in the heart of Orchard Road at Palais Renaissance, one of Singapore’s premier shopping venues.  We aim to provide a more personal and bespoke service and only specialize in original paintings, limited edition lithographs, screenprints, etchings and sculptures in the Pop and Contemporary Art genres.

The Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) conceptualised the design and managed the development of the new multi-purpose facility at the Marina Bay. The facility comprises a seating gallery and a floating platform.

When completed, the new floating platform is likely to be the world’s largest floating performance stage on water.

DSTA worked closely with the Ministry of Defence, Singapore Sports Council and Urban Redevelopment Authority to conceptualise the innovative solution to address the need for a temporary facility to hold mass spectators events over the next five years in view of the expected demolition of the National Stadium.

As the programme manager, DSTA also provided its expertise in technology and systems integration to develop the technical specifications to meet the unique needs of the various government bodies, oversee the construction of the facility and conduct load testing on the floating platform.
