2009 Grammy Nominee metal band DragonForce returns to Singapore with a one-night only concert at D’Marquee, Downtown East on Saturday, 11th April 2009. Nominated for Best Metal Performance for the track ‘Heroes of Our Time’ in the coming Grammy awards on 8th February, DragonForce has achieved incredible worldwide success over the past two years with their explosive and entertaining live shows.
The Singapore leg of the world tour will feature songs from their latest album ‘Ultra Beatdown’ as well as hits from their previous albums. Their last album ‘Inhuman Rampage’ sold in excess of 350,000 copies in America alone, over 85,000 in the UK and 600,000 worldwide, spawning the US Gold single ‘Through The Fire and Flames’, thus giving DragonForce the cachet of being the most successful new British metal act in America for two decades!
‘Ultra Beatdown’ is the album that has taken DragonForce to new heights, and has escalated to the Top 20 charts in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and the Top 10 in Japan.
