Lim Hak Tai: Quintessential Nanyang Art Exhibition (林å¦å¤§é—作展)
The Lim Hak Tai: Quintessential Nanyang art exhibition is a showcase of over 50 pieces of artworks by the late Lim Hak Tai. The exhibits drawn from NAFA Permanent Collection and Lim’s family collection include paintings and calligraphy.
Featuring his Chinese ink works of subjects such as bamboos, birds and flowers; and oil and acrylic paintings of portraits, landscapes and still life, this show presents not just the art practice of an historical figure who had embraced the styles and techniques of both East and West, but also the aesthetic values of the institution and the Nanyang region. The exhibition is part of NAFA’s 70th anniversary celebration.
